CATT Sustainment

CATT Sustainment

The Computer Automated Transportation Tool (CATT) Sustainment Module provides freight documentation and consolidation capabilities to support split operations, redeployment, redistribution, and retrograde activities. It generates barcoded (linear and two dimensional) Military Shipment Labels (MSLs, DD Form 1387) and Issue Release/Receipt Documents (IRRDs, DD Form 1348-1A). It creates Transportation Control and Movement Documents (TCMDs), writes Department of Defense (DoD) Standard Optical Memory Cards (OMCs), Radio Frequency (RF) Tags and populates Intransit Visibility (ITV) servers.

CATT Sustainment runs on a Windows 95/98/NT/2000 platform. It generates labels on standard Windows-compatible laser printers or on label printers. The tool currently supports label printers manufactured by Intermec Corporation and Zebra Technologies Corporation. It can be used with Symbol PDT 7200 Series barcode scanners.

CATT Sustainment is recommended for organizations that perform shipping, redeployment and retrograde activities within the Defense Transportation System.
